What is GreenButton?

Simply put, the team at GreenButton help transition software vendors & their applications to the cloud. We ensure that both the vendor and their customers benefit from the cloud, by providing all the GreenButton components to sell, support and deliver a cloud solution with minimal risk and effort.

We do this by focusing first on those tasks or functions that could benefit from the cloud - today. It’s not about moving everything today, it’s about moving at a pace that adds value to the end users and the business.

What does this mean?

We provide an alternate strategy in moving to the cloud by distributing certain functions or tasks to the cloud rather than a complete move to the cloud which could be very costly.

    Chairman

    Marcel van den Assum has held senior information services leadership roles as supplier and customer, in New Zealand and offshore locations, for commercial and public sector organizations.

    Scott Houston

    CEO

    Scott has over 25 years' experience in the IT industry and previously was CIO for Weta Digital during The Lord of the Rings, Scott was the New Zealand Regional Manager for Silicon Graphics and the Southern Regional Channel Manager for Compaq in New Zealand.

    Dave Fellows

    CTO

    Dave has many years of experience designing massively scalable applications in the Investment Banking industry in the U.K. He has a passion for the Cloud and High Performance Computing and using innovative technology to bring unique and compelling solutions to GreenButton's customers.

    Chris Teeling

    COO

    In leading our operations Chris brings over 25 years of pragmatic and deep business experience. Prior to joining GreenButton to lead the launch onto Azure, Chris's roles have included Global Manager for JP Morgan Derivatives, Strategy Consulting Director for HP & CapGemini NZ and Global Strategy & Innovation Manager for Fonterra.

    Vivian Morresey

    CMO

    Vivian joins us from the very successful Xero (Xero.com), where he served two years on the executive management team as General Manager of Sales during their critical startup years. He brings to GreenButton a wealth of experience gained from a career spanning more than 20+ years in technology and business.

    Darryl Lundy

    CFO

    Darryl's most recent role prior to GreenButton was seven years as a Business Development Manager for Telecom NZ. While at Telecom, he helped manage a number of corporate transactions. His degrees include an MBA from The Wharton School and a Masters in Computer Science from Harvard. He is also a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst.
